The grandest matriarch.

Coco Chanel was a pioneering french designer who established Chanel in the 20th century. She had a modernist philosophy and was inspired with menswear fashions and pursued expensive simplicity.

"Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance." - Coco Chanel designed pieces that showed great elegance and beauty but was still kept simple and comfortable.

Coco Chanel is truly iconic. She created a fashion house that redefined the image of women in those early times. "I gave women a sense of freedom; I gave them back their bodies: bodies that were drenched in sweat, due to fashion's finery, lace, corsets, underclothes, padding."
Hence, she made women feel comfortable and at ease with their clothing. If it weren't for Coco Chanel, then maybe we would all still be wearing corsets and couldn't be able breathe.
