Alexander McQueen’s spring 2010 shoes are just colossal. I was seriously at awe when I first saw this a few weeks or months ago? (too lazy to update then) I mean, they are just so freaking huge! Its awesomely weird? Apparently one is about 12 inches in height – like literally a whole ruler. I see it as the Balenciaga boots but it evolved into a bigger, wilder type. It’s amazing how those models walked with those on. I would honestly be terrified to walk two steps in them. Though it would be great to have a pair and occasionally wear it in front of a mirror (without walking) or putting them in a glass case – museum style.

Now, I’m not exactly a lady gaga fan, but we do have to give her the credit for wearing these and other great shoes in her music video. Watch and spot the armadillo!

New York Girls

I was browsing along my computer's files and came across this folder with old inspirational photos I gathered before I left for my summer trip. I remember planning my clothes, patterning them out to those pictures and those gorgeous-looking city women who certainly appeared effortless in their well balanced sartorial outfits. Here are a few of the many photos which definitely inspired me to wear more than just a t-shirt, boring old jeans and worse, flip flops.

51 ish days till Christmas!

The Countdown begins as Christmas draws nearer. Since Christmas is one of my favorite holidays, I think it’s never too early or late to be giving (or asking) gifts and making wish lists. Therefore here is the early edition of the Jingle bells & Sleigh Bells Wish list 09’. (Attention to my dearest sister in the windy city, this post is for you)

Un (1). Range Rover or a Mercedes Benz G500 (Black)

You can never dash into the snow or around the city streets or the SLEX without a wonderful shiny pimpy sleigh.

Deux (2). Sam Edelman Boot

Three years ago, Balenciaga launched its Winter Black Harness Boots in the Fall 06 collection. This chunky and quite huge looking platform boots seemed ridiculous at first glance, yet I’ve come to love them ever since MK trotted the streets with these at feet. So at number 2, is Sam Edelman’s Zoe boot which is a split-second Balenciaga.

Trois (3). The Wang Bag

Alexander Wang is one of my favorite designers. His ideas and collections molded my style today. In his Fall 09 ready to wear, he upgraded the model-off-duty look, including his bags which definitely appeared edgier. Here’s another Splurge vs. Save.

Quatre (4). Topshop amigo stirrup ankle boot

My original love is a Zara black studded ankle boot yet I haven’t found any picture of it so this Topshop ankle boot would suffice.

Cing (5). Sequins and blazers

Two wonderful things mixed together would create the trophy (sequined) blazer. This Topshop find is totally an investment due to its luxurious appeal (shiny & sparkling) and of course it’s a simple put-on that makes your look efficiently bearable. Plus, it’s a great piece for the holidays!

Six (6). Trustworthy jeans

Topshop seems to be prolific in this list. Anyway, I am an adorer of their skinnies. They always seem to have a perfect fit and a great look combined.

Sept (7). Nixon making its way to the mainstream

Seventh on my list is Nixon’s the time teller P. I kinda like the red looking orange piece but the rubine, light blue, white and purple seem cool too. I also like the Fluro Player and the Ceramic Player – but the ceramic’s a bit pricey.

Huit (8). Blingage

I must say my stocks lack in this department. I am in serious need of some blingage! Im on the lookout for some lion rings or any cool looking animal ring.

Neuf (9). Makeup!

I’m a girl; what more can I say.

Dix (10). Ray ban New Wayfarer (optical)

I seriously need new glasses not because for fashion but for real optical needs. I am blind. (not really..kinda) So I found these ray ban wayfarer glasses and they look geek chic in some way.

I prefer the black, plum & white or the blue one.
