elle's editorial was inspired by empire records which was a movie about a bunch of teenagers working in a record store. the series of pictures below were styled by erin wasson.
History has a way of repeating itself, even when it comes to fashion. I think that the 80's started creeping itself to the main stream once those skinny jeans came back; and one at a time, each 80's element comes rolling back from the jeans to the leggings to the wayfarers, docs, plaids to the hanging tees.Here's a clip from empire records: sugar high
